1st Bark [Action] because who can read anyways journals are useless etc

[With the influx of New Feathers, no one's probably noticed this boy rolling on the ground trying to bite his wings. In the snow. With only those bare amount of clothes. And failing. S'hard being a human.

Once he finds out he can't though, he's reduced to being cold and miserable and sticking by the edge of the forest near the school because he sees all these humans and does not want to interact with them, so obviously the best way to go about this is to wait until it's not so light outside and then go look for someplace warm. And to stay away from those people. Yes, perfect.

The journal's pretty much abandoned beside the tree he's pressing against in some effort of being warm there is a reason he has never gone any place cold in his canon and that is because he is 1. under-dressed for it and 2. from a tropical island. Good luck trying to talking to him or anything though, because he's pretty distrustful of anything remotely human.]

How're they just there?

They're actually at home or at work, Chien. See, if I want to say something to everyone, I use this journal...and the page updates for everyone else, no matter where they are. It's magic.

[She stands and leaves, then, talking to the chef on duty before heading out to get the journal. It's a good twenty minutes before she returns, if Chien is still waiting for her.]

[Of course he'd still be waiting! He said he would, right? And he'll still be flipping back until he can't anymore, experimenting some and looking through different things and pressing different buttons but not... replying to anything like that or anything. Just being purely amazed by the voices and stuff that come out.

[The sound of a bell jingling against the door is the first sign that Azusa's returned. She lets out a sigh of relief, commenting to the chef on duty again about the weather before moving back to their table and holding out a journal for Chien to take. Hopefully, it's his, and not someone else's!]

Ah, I hope I didn't take too long, Chien! It was buried under the snow.

[And if he's tasted her soup and club sandwich, she really doesn't mind.]

[Just a nibble and a sip, he swears! And he'll look right up when he hears the bell ring, taking the journal from her and moving hers back to the other side.]

Not long, but your soup's not so hot anymore. Still good-- I mean, um, it should still be good though.

[ooc: pffffft I need to finish it myself... I'm not actually after the fight at Galpos, I'm stuck on it. Because Ber keeps tackling me.]

[She really doesn't mind, she'll eat it anyways. She'll nibble on her sandwich while Chien eats or looks over his journal, whichever he likes.]

[Oh, he's doing both at once, really. Utensils looked important to use so he's basically only using his fork to pick the meat up and chow down on it, but at least he's careful not to get anything on his journal while he flips through it.]

So it's all the same... I wonder if Lady Mathias knows about this kind of magic.

[ooc: yeah! his first fight was a breeze for me, as were most of them to that point, but he really got stronger for his second fight...]

I can't say for sure. It seems a lot of people from the same worlds end up here, so she might be here as well.
