[With the influx of New Feathers, no one's probably noticed this boy rolling on the ground trying to bite his wings. In the snow. With only those bare amount of clothes. And failing. S'hard being a human.

Once he finds out he can't though, he's reduced to being cold and miserable and sticking by the edge of the forest near the school because he sees all these humans and does not want to interact with them, so obviously the best way to go about this is to wait until it's not so light outside and then go look for someplace warm. And to stay away from those people. Yes, perfect.

The journal's pretty much abandoned beside the tree he's pressing against in some effort of being warm there is a reason he has never gone any place cold in his canon and that is because he is 1. under-dressed for it and 2. from a tropical island. Good luck trying to talking to him or anything though, because he's pretty distrustful of anything remotely human.]

[ Spada doesn't want to fight with him over this, but he eyes him for a good few moments, lips tugging down but kept in a thin line. (It's really sad watching him.) ]

You got any idea where you're gonna stay? Can't just stand around this tree all winter, you know.

Yeah, yeah, I got it. [ hummmn. A pause accompanied by a sigh. ] There are some open buildin's around here you can stay in if you want and no one's gonna bother you, but you need anythin' and we're not exactly gonna turn you away, you hear?

[He'd be residing in one of those wayward pines. The trees with the comfortable holes in them. Don't need your stupid houses.]

[ Yeah, he picks up on that shaky voice and he realizes he needs to cool it because this isn't going to go anywhere and he knows that, and combat is the absolute last thing he needs here.

But there's something about that speech that strikes a bad nerve with him and he keeps his voice stern and calm, the way Ricardo would do it, when he answers with a tight-lipped frown (it's concern, promise). ]

Don't go assumin' you know everythin' about a person.

[ That counts for Mathias and that counts for his assumption about a good life with a family, too. ]

[He really cannot express how much Arca helped him. Even if, in the end, they're right (which they're not!) he's thankful to have someplace he can call a home with other Avatars.

He's still pissed as hell, but he moves behind the tree and climbs it expertly, watching him from the branches. This'd be a good spot to attack from if needed, even if it's a little obvious. He'd spit on the other if he didn't remember the sting of those swords so well.]

[ It's inconvenient having to crane his neck up to talk to him while he's up in that tree, but he tries it anyway so long as he's talking to him.

He doesn't like talking about debts, but this is something he feels he should at the least mention. ]

What does he care anyways... [Muttered, but it's not like Spada'd be able to hear it anyways since Chien says it after he's out of sight. Whatever, he's gonna traverse the trees and find a place to stay.]
