[Holy shit this was a bad day to be in the village.

There were a lot of people he didn't particularly know - or care about! - walking around and

it really, really wore on his nerves.

But he's out nonetheless looking for some important people in his life, watching the wingless newcomers warily and keeping to himself. All around the village, too, and later in the forest as well whether or not his search comes up fruitless.]

Just because someone's kind to you doesn't mean they're good. Or your friends. They could just be tricking you.

I don't know about you, but where I come that's all it's been. Besides Arca. There's not a single good person besides that group, and the rest of the people who're kind to me usually used me.

So it might be the same for you, is what I'm saying. I guess things here have been different, but that's because they're from all over.

I don't really believe anyone would try to use me or lie to me. Testament was always there to protect me and so were May and Johnny. They're good people...

Who're they? You're sure they wouldn't?

I am! Testament protected me from the bounty hunters. A lot of things happened later, but... in the end I joined the Jellyfish Pirates... Johnny and May are one of them. They were my first human friends.

Like on the sea? Taking ships and stuff.

I'm not sure... The ship we have can fly in the sky.

Back home Tenos was supposed to be doing something like that too. With ships in the sky and all. I think. Probably for the war though. What do yours do?

War? But back home the war ended long time ago... Our ship is just a place for us to live.

Lucky your war ended, ours has been going on for a while. What's it like? Flying and all.

It was a very long war.

It's a lot of fun. The world looks so different from above.

But can't you fly? You have wings...

I can't fly with my wigs very well either. But yours are different than mine.

Everyone here's got it. That's why you have them, too. Even if they're weird looking.

But I had wings before arriving here. I have them because I am a Gear.
